1000 PhonePe-rs, 110 Hacks, 24 Hours of Innovation

In the 5th edition of PhonePe’s Super Hackathon, participants challenged limits, tackled problems head-on, and made everything about it truly ‘Super’

The atmosphere was buzzing with energy, creativity, and passion that knew no bounds, and the drive to think outside the box shone brightly at Super Hackathon 2025. Held on February 21, this landmark event brought together over 1000 PhonePe-rs, all eager to push the boundaries of innovation and problem-solving. With more than 110 hacks submitted, the competition was fierce, but so was the camaraderie and excitement that defined the event.

The Spirit of Super Hackathon

This was a milestone 5th edition of the Hackathon, and everything about this hackathon was “super”. From the charged atmosphere on the floor to the engaging events and entertainment that kept spirits high. The event was more than just a coding contest; it was a melting pot of ideas, teamwork, and groundbreaking solutions designed to solve real-world challenges. Hackathon 2025 showcased not only the technical capabilities of its participants but also their ability to collaborate, think critically, and innovate at scale.

Over the course of an intense 24 hours, teams worked tirelessly to build and refine their projects, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving abilities and creativity. The event featured superhero-themed photobooths capturing the essence of the hackathon, while fun-filled activities such as movie screenings and a midnight music gig ensured that participants stayed energized throughout the challenge.

The winning hacks spanned across debugging tools as well as new features on our apps to enhance the usability and convenience for our customers.
